Midas Hampton

National Director of Research and Evaluation

Midas joined Urban Alliance in July 2019 as a Program Evaluation Coordinator. He is now the National Director of Research and Evaluation in the Research and Evaluation Department. He has a background in direct service with high school students and communities, mixed methods research, state and local policy, and program evaluation. He has a passion for participatory methodologies and centering equity in every aspect of the work. These experiences support and inform how he leads the research, performance measurement, and organizational learning at Urban Alliance.

Midas received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of South Carolina-Upstate and a master’s degree in public administration from Seattle University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of the District of Columbia in the College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Sciences.
